The Global Ecumenical Conference of Bishops (GCEB) is an independent, interdenominational, non-Roman Catholic global forum created specifically for bishops to engage one another as peers around humanitarian concerns, global challenges, strategic collaboration, and issues affecting communities and nations.
GCEB is not a theological council.
It is not a doctrinal body.
It is not a spiritual formation organization.
It is not a governing jurisdiction over participating bishops or churches.
GCEB is a table for bishops.
A place where bishops can come together as peers, exchange perspectives, examine humanitarian challenges, develop strategic responses, and produce thoughtful position papers that can contribute to conversations and action beyond their own jurisdictions and nations.
